Wanted: Sales Manager for test, simulation and control activities in the space industry

Sales Manager

Job description:

As Sales Manager for our test, simulation and control activities, you will be focusing on the space market for the product segments electrical test equipment for satellites (EGSE) and simulation software. The position also includes a smaller business development role in areas such as space robotics and attitude and orbit control systems (AOCS), as well as a possible expansion into communication systems. For the areas mentioned, you will be responsible for the yearly order intake.

More specifically, activities of the Sales Manager position include generating and pursuing sales leads, building and managing customer contacts, leading bid-no-bid processes, as well as proposal preparations and negotiating contacts. The Sales Manager function can require irregular travel.

What it takes:

You have completed a technical, academic university education, supplemented with at least five years of relevant working experience. You are results-driven, pragmatic and proactive and you have the ability to “open doors”. Besides, you have strong communication and negotiation skills and great commercial awareness. You are a strategic thinker and capable of navigating through challenging political environments. Ideally, you are also already familiar with the space industry and the EGSE market and you have affinity with electronics and software, capable of executing project management tasks as well. Last, but not least, you can express yourself fluently in English and preferable also in Dutch, both in speech and in writing.
